About the Universal Bullshit Detector Watch™

1. How does the Universal Bullshit Detector Watch™ work?

To set the time, pull out the lower stem and move the hands to the desired time. Push the stem back in. The watch is battery operated and does not require winding.

2. What can you tell me about the watch itself?

This watch has a Miyota 2035 quartz movement. The watch case is dark metallic aluminum alloy. The watch face is red and depicts a bull from behind. The surface protecting the watch face is glass. The strap is black PVC with a metal buckle. It has 10 holes and will fit just about any size wrist from a child to an adult.

Each time you push the upper button, the flashing and sound effect will last approximately eight seconds.

3. What kind of batteries does it use?

There are two batteries, both of which are commonly available. The watch movement is powered by a 1.5V SR626SW battery cell. The sound and light effects are powered by a 3V CR2025 battery.

Yes. It is easy to have the batteries replaced by a local jeweler or watchmaker who does watch battery replacement. We recommend you print this set of instructions and take it with you to the shop of your choice.

5. Is the watch water resistant?

The Universal Bullshit Detector Watch™ has a speaker. The sound comes out through the holes in the watch case. We therefore recommend that you do not get your Universal Bullshit Detector Watch™ wet.

Our Return Policy

7. What is your Return Policy?

In the event that you are not completely satisfied and wish to exchange an item or request a refund, please return it in its original condition including complete packaging no later than 30 days from the date you purchased it. In your return package, please include a copy of the mailing label that came on your package. This has your order number on it and will facilitate the exchange or refund.

If you do not have the package label, please call or email Customer Service at 1-800-520-0904 or support@bswatch.com to request an “RMA” number and include this number on a note packed with the item you are returning specifying the reason for the return, such as “damaged in shipping”, “didn’t work properly” or something else. Please also indicate your preference for us to either exchange the item or provide a refund. Be sure to include your phone number and e-mail address to assure we can get in touch with you if necessary.

We will credit the original account used to make this purchase, or make exchange arrangements upon receipt of goods.

Please allow 10 business days for us to receive and process your return.

We do not refund the cost of the original shipping and handling or your cost of returning it to us. We will, however, pay the cost of shipping an exchanged item to you.

For your protection, we recommend shipping returned items to us via insured/certified mail or UPS ground service, so you have a record of the return.

Payments and Shipping

9. What kind of payments do you accept?

Orders are processed by PayPal, which will accept your credit card whether or not you have a PayPal account. You may use a Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover credit card or PayPal account.

10. Do you charge sales tax?

Tax is charged only for watches being shipped to customers in Kentucky (6%).

11. What is your Shipping Policy?

Items ship in 2-3 days via U.S. Postal Service (USPS). Time in transit depends on the shipping method and the buyer's location. Once the product ships, standard delivery will take 4-6 days to most places in the U.S.. Rush shipping via Priority Mail is available for an additional charge. The cost depends on the quantity of watches purchased. Rush is not available for foreign shipping. See FAQ #12 for shipping options and rates.

13. What is your wholesale policy?

Orders greater than 12 watches qualify for a quantity discount on a sliding scale. The more watches you buy, the bigger the discount. All orders must be paid in advance.
